Reverend Dr. Marrix D. Seymore, Sr.
Dean. Pastor. Compliance Consultant. Partner to Anguilla.
Welcome:
I have spent my career at the intersection of leadership, learning, and service. Not because I planned it that way, but because the work kept leading back to the same truth: organizations rise or fall on the quality of their leaders, and leaders rise or fall on the quality of their formation.
I am coming to Anguilla because this is a place that understands that truth. A place that values relationship over transaction, wisdom over speed, and dignity over display.
Before we work together, you deserve to know who I am.
The Dean:
For more than twenty years, I served as a university dean of education. I developed curricula, mentored faculty, and guided institutions through periods of growth and change. I learned what it takes to professionalize a workforce—and what happens when capable people are promoted without the tools to lead.
I designed programs that turned theory into practice. I watched nervous students become confident teachers. I learned that adult development is not about filling empty vessels but about drawing out capacities already present.
That work taught me how people learn. More importantly, it taught me how people grow.
The Pastor:
Long before I was a dean, I was a pastor. I still am.
I have walked with communities through celebration and grief. I have mediated conflicts between leaders who forgot they were on the same team. I have sat with supervisors struggling to manage, and with staff struggling to be seen.
The pastoral vocation taught me that the deepest organizational challenges are almost always human challenges. Trust broken. Communication failed. Dignity denied.
It also taught me that trust can be rebuilt, communication restored, and dignity honored—when someone shows up consistently, listens carefully, and stays present through difficulty.
I bring that presence to every engagement.
The Compliance Consultant:
In recent years, I have served as a higher education compliance consultant, guiding institutions through audits, remediation periods, and stabilization. I learned the language of regulation and the discipline of documentation.
I also learned that compliance without capacity-building is merely paperwork. Institutions that merely check boxes remain vulnerable. Institutions that learn from compliance processes emerge stronger.
The "60-Day Strike"—the critical window following identification of deficiencies—is where most organizations struggle. I help them navigate it well, not just to satisfy auditors but to build systems that last.
The Thread:
What connects these roles?
A conviction that leadership is service. That the goal is not to be impressive but to be useful. That the best consultant is not the one with the most answers but the one who asks the right questions and stays long enough to help implement the answers.
I have led. I have served. I have regulated. I have counseled.
Now I bring all of it to Anguilla.
Current Status:
I am currently available for virtual engagements with Anguillan resorts as I prepare for relocation in late 2026. This hybrid model allows me to:
Begin supporting your team immediately
Build relationships before arriving on island
Ensure on-site work hits the ground running
Whether virtually now or in person later, I bring the same commitment: practical, respectful, relationship-based partnership.
Beyond the Resume:
I am drawn to Anguilla not only for its beauty—though that is undeniable—but for its dignity. This is a place that values relationship, respects wisdom, and expects outsiders to earn trust before offering solutions.
I intend to earn that trust.
When I am not working, you might find me [personal detail: attending a local church, walking a beach, learning to fish, exploring the island, etc.]. I am coming to become a neighbor, not just a consultant.
Credentials:
Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, Northcentral University
M.Ed, Prairie View A&M University
Former Dean, Lincoln University School of Education
Ordained Christian Methodist Episcopal Church Pastor

A Personal Note:
If you have read this far, you are likely someone who values substance over surface. Someone who wants to know who you are partnering with, not just what you are buying. I appreciate that. I am the same way. So let me close with this: I am not coming to Anguilla to extract. I am coming to contribute. I am not looking for quick transactions. I am looking for lasting partnerships. If that resonates with you, I would be honored to begin a conversation.
However, and whenever we connect, I look forward to meeting you.
With respect and anticipation,
Dr. Marrix D. Seymore, Sr.,
Principal Strategy Consultant & Founder
